Maurizio graduated in political economics (specialising in monetary and financial economics) from the Commercial University “L. Bocconi” of Milan. He also holds a Law Degree from the University of Bologna and a PhD in commercial law from the Commercial Univerity “L. Bocconi” of Milan.

He is admitted to practice by the  Italian Bar as Dottore Commercialista (chartered accountant admitted to practice in front of tax courts), and is also on the register of auditors.

He is the author of several articles and journals about commercial and financial law published on “Giurisprudenza Commerciale, Banca, Impresa e Società” and “Diritto dell’Economia”.

Maurizio joined Bird & Bird in April 2003.
