Maciej is the Head of Bird & Bird's office in Poland.

Maciej recently joined Bird & Bird from his previous position as a partner in M. Furtek i Wspólnicy in Warsaw.  His experience also includes working at KPMG in Cracow. Maciej is admitted to the Cracow Bar.

Maciej's main areas of legal practice are:

• Banking & Finance – drafting & auditing banking internal and client regulations; Polish “bank outsourcing” projects solutions;
• IT – drafting, negotiating and advising to clients in a number of large scale IT systems license/implementation/maintenance projects;
• Dispute resolution;
• Intellectual property;
• Corporate and commercial (including mergers and acquisitions); and
• Litigation, arbitrations, and court administrative disputes.
