Licia focuses on national and international patents, trade marks, design litigation and advices on issues relating to intellectual property and unfair competition.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird Milan, she worked many years at the law firm Franzosi, Dal Negro, Pensato, Setti in Milan, in the Intellectual Property Department headed by Prof. Mario Franzosi, where she gained a considerable experience assisting leading Italian and international companies on intellectual property issues.
Licia has been a panellist in several conventions on intellectual property rights (e.g. WIPO International Forum on the textile-clothing industry) and on the protection of food products and geographical indication. She contributed to the Commentary of the New Italian Intellectual and Industrial Property Code.
Since 2001, she has collaborated with the European Institute of Design in Milan and is an arbitrator for the dispute resolution service provider authorised by the Italian NIC relating to internet domain names registered under ccTLD "it".
Licia is admitted to the Milan Bar and is member of the Anti-Counterfeiting Centre (Centro Studi Anticontraffazione).
She is fluent in Italian, German and English.
