Alison's specialisation is intellectual property law and she advises on contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. She has handled a number of high profile patent and copyright actions in Hong Kong, China, Thailand and other South East Asian countries in the life sciences and electronic related sectors.
Her non-contentious practice covers providing advice on the protection and exploitation of IP rights and providing regulatory advice particularly in the life sciences sector in countries in the Asian Pacific region.
Alison is a regular speaker at international conferences and she was involved in lobbying the HKSAR government and the HKSAR Legislative Council on copyright law reform.
