Travelling by plane
Malpensa Airport is the main international airport in Milan. It is located about 40kms from the city centre. It consists of two different terminals linked by a shuttle bus.

You may reach the centre of Milan either by Taxi or by Shuttle bus departing from Terminal 2 and reaches Cadorna Rail Station. There is also a train Malpensa Express which departs from terminal 2 and also reaches the Cadorna Station.

From Cadorna Station it is easiest to reach Bird & Bird’s office by underground – San Babilia stop. Take a train heading in the direction of Sesto and get off at San Babilia. Bird & Bird’s office is a 4 minute walk from here.

Linate Airport lies at a short distance from Milan city centre, only 7kms.

Travelling by train
Stazione centrale (the central railway station), is the main railway junction in Lombardy. It lies a short distance from the city centre and is very well served by two underground lines and a considerable number of trams and buses.

Underground lines: Yellow line (line 3) that takes directly to Duomo stop and also the green line (line 2).

The nearest underground stations to the office are Montenapoleone (5 min walk) or San Babila (4 min walk). You can reach

Montenapoleone by taking the yellow line in the direction of Cologno Nord. You can reach San Babila by taking the red line in the direction of Sestro.

Travelling by car
It is important to know that there are three bypasses enabling drivers to reach different parts of the city and its suburbs without crossing the city centre.

They are indicated on the street signs as follows:

• Tangenziale Est
• Tangenziale Ovest
