Antonio delivers superb legal service to his clients.

Antonio is a partner and the head of the EU and Competition Group in our office in Madrid.

He has appeared before the European Court of Justice in over 50 cases. His experience includes the appeal in several competition cases in the chemical, steel, paper and construction materials sectors, obtaining very significant reductions of fines imposed by the European Commission. He has also appealed against a merger control decision.

He has successfully pioneered the private application of competition law in Spain by way of injunctions in abuse of dominant position cases. He has also been involved in complex litigation regarding both competition and consumer protection cases at court level as well as at an administrative level.

Antonio has a wealth of experience regarding abuse of dominant positions, having dealt with both complainants and defendants during his career.

Antonio has published a number of books, book chapters and articles dealing with competition and European law. He is a lecturer in several postgraduate programs in Spain and speaks at a number of events in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

He is also a private pilot and he did his military service in an air traffic control facility.
