On the part of Merck KGaA, the transaction was led by Mr. Marcus Heppner (Konzernrechtsabteilung).

LITEC-LLL GmbH is a specialist in research and development as well as production and marketing of ortho-silicate lighting materials. The acquisition of the company gives Merck KGaA access to the future-oriented business with light sources for LEDs.
