Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg

Overview

Switzerland

Switzerland

We have considerable experience in assisting Swiss clients or foreign clients with an interest in Switzerland, and we are able to do so in the three main national languages (German, French and Italian). We work with a selected network of corresponding firms to help us deal with specific aspects of Swiss law, and we have a cooperation agreement with Swiss law firm BCCC advocats.

More recently, we have organised a regular programme of client seminars and events in Switzerland and we are proud to support the Legal Counsel Club in Geneva, an exclusive network of in-house lawyers in some of the most sophisticated companies in that region.

For more information, please contact Frédérique Dupuis-Toubol in Paris, David Malcoiffe in Lyon, Paul Hermant in Brussels or Fabian Niemann in Dusseldorf.

Austria

We have a long tradition advising Austrian companies and clients in international dealings and matters involving Austrian aspects in our key sectors such as aerospace, aviation, communications, electronics, energy and utilities, financial services, IT, life sciences, media, sports and beyond. A proven network of corresponding firms in Austria helps us support clients in Austrian law questions.

Austria also often serves as central point for Central European projects and transactions and we have substantial experience in such matters working in close cooperation with our CE and German offices.

For more information on our work in Austria, please contact Fabian Niemann in Frankfurt or Paul Hermant in Brussels.

Luxembourg

LuxembourgLuxembourg is an important jurisdiction for many of our clients. It is the seat of the EU Courts of Justice, before which our lawyers regularly represent or assist clients in competition law cases, as well as in cases based on EU law in general. It also plays a significant role in the banking and finance world and in effective corporate structures and private tax planning.

We offer assistance to local and foreign clients in several languages (including English, German and French) and have developed a selected network of corresponding firms to help us deal with specific aspects of Luxembourg law.

For more information, please contact Stefano Febbi in Milan, Paul Hermant in Brussels and Christian Luthman in Sweden. More specifically for tax questions, please contact Pieter Camps in The Hague or Brent Springael in Brussels.
