María Girón

I am an associate in the Bird and Bird Intellectual Property department, in the Madrid office.

I joined the team in 2021, and since then my practice areas involve different sectors, such as foodtech, technology, pharma, automotive or entertainment. In these sectors, I advise clients in legal proceedings involving actions for infringement or validity of trademarks, patents, industrial designs or copyright, as well as actions for infringement of trade secrets and unfair competition.

In addition to the defense of our clients in legal proceedings, I am also involved in giving legal advice in non-contentious matters including the negotiation and drafting of contracts regarding intellectual property rights.
