Kornél Verebélyi

I am a Trainee Associate in the Finance & Financial Regulation group in the Budapest office at Bird & Bird.

I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Pazmany Peter Catholic University. During my studies, I spent a few months at the Utrecht University where I gained valuable experience in M&A, and Corporate Governance, and later on I also completed a course at the BIB about financial law. I was a member of the Annual Scientific Student Associations, where I participated in the process of assessing the papers.

Before joining the firm I spent most of my undergraduate years working for a leading energy company, and I also worked in the banking industry.

I speak fluently English in addition to my native Hungarian.
