Tom has experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters across the telecommunications, media and life sciences sectors.
Tom is an associate in our Intellectual Property Group based in London.
He has been involved in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, particularly in relation to patents, trade
marks, passing off and breach of confidence. Also experienced in establishing and administering EU-wide anti-counterfeiting programmes, Tom has worked with clients from a number of different sectors including telecommunications, media, life sciences, sport and food and drink.
Tom joined us in 2011, after obtaining a degree in Law from the University of Nottingham in 2010.
He has experience of proceedings in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, Patents Court and Court of Appeal, including HTC v Nokia, Danisco v Novozymes and Hometrack v Landmark.
Tom has contributed to various legal publications, including the Journal of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA).
