Stefanie Kremer is a member of our Energy sector group and is based in the Düsseldorf office. She specialises in energy, regulatory and environmental law, as well as public commercial law.
Stefanie advises national and international clients on various aspects of energy law. This includes all legal issues ranging from energy production to trade and transportation and extends to energy distribution. Furthermore, she advises on European and national aspects of regulation, grid concession, grid access, grid connection and grid fees. She also has expertise in infrastructure projects such as renewable energy generation or planning procedures for extra high voltage lines.
Her experience includes: advising on a major German TSO (Transmission System Operators) in relation to several planning permit procedures for extra high voltage lines; working with a Japanese trading house providing advice on the energy and regulatory aspects sale of a solar park in Germany; and advising municipalities on various aspects of energy supply and grid connection and the remunicipalisation of a gas and electricity grids.
Before joining Bird & Bird, Stefanie gathered two years experience at a major international accounting and law firm in the field of energy law.
