Maria-Paz provides hands-on advice and assistance to clients in a wide range of public, administrative and regulatory law matters
Maria-Paz is an associate in our Public Sector and Regulatory & Administrative Groups, based in Brussels.
She advises and represents clients on a wide range of matters relating to public and administrative law, including town planning and environmental law, public procurement, public service and constitutional law.
Maria-Paz has particular expertise in the biotech industry and advises several Belgian and international players on a wide range of key regulatory issues in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors. She also advises on the regulatory issues affecting the food & beverages industries.
Maria-Paz completed her law studies at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2011. Before joining us at the end of 2013, Maria-Paz gained work experience at the public law department of a Brussels lawyer's office and has undertaken a four month traineeship at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich.
She speaks Dutch, English, Spanish, and French and has a basic understanding of German.
