I'm an associate in our international Public Procurement group in Denmark where through long-term project management partnerships I have specialised in communicating public procurement matters to project groups consisting of a variety of competences and backgrounds.
I appreciate when I am a part of the client's project management team this gives me full insight to the contracting entity's needs, requirements and the entire organisation beyond the specific project.
In my experience, this insight is essential for all phases of the procurement process, especially in complex projects. In addition, my previous employment with one of Denmark's largest public building owners has given me a key understanding of the procedures and political processes that apply to public entities.
I advise our clients on both the Classic Directive and the Utility Directive. My work with the Utility Directive was refined by a secondment at a utility company. I have been a part of a number of negotiated procedures, starting with defining the procurement strategy and subsequently in the planning and realisation of the market dialogue. Moreover, I have in-depth experience of complex framework agreements with several suppliers and most recently I am working on a public procurement procedure with municipalities' collaboration across national borders.
Over the years, I have developed particular experience in construction and infrastructure projects, which is due to my interest in both construction law and design, AB92/ABR89 and AB18/ABR18.
The fact that Bird & Bird can establish international collaborations is truly unique. Therefore, I am very privileged to be a part of an international team across Bird & Bird's offices to ensure the best international advice.
