Maria is a competent and experienced associate who specialises in public procurement law according to the EU procurement rules and the Danish Tendering Act
Maria is an associate in our Public Procurement Group in Denmark.
She assists with conducting all tendering phases, including conducting technical dialogue with the market, drafting and assuring the quality of tender documents, conduction prequalification and evaluating tenders.
Her experience with public tenders involves outsourcing projects and tenders covered by the Danish Company Transfer Act as well as general advice on procurement, other public law cases and contractual issues.
Maria joined us in 2013 having previously worked for the Defence Command Denmark in their Strategic Procurement Branch. During her time there she gained practical experience with procurement projects in the public sector and attained a great knowledge of, and an insight into, the political decision making process.
Maria also works as a teaching assistant and examiner at the University of Copenhagen, in the subject of family and inheritance law, as well as a volunteer advisor at Copenhagen Legal Aid.
She has a law degree from University of Copenhagen and has also studied for one semester at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Maria speaks Danish and English.
