Marcus Chow is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial practice group in Singapore.
Marcus's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, equity capital markets and regulatory compliance work. He also advises on corporate governance and Singapore stock exchange related matters. He was involved in regional cross border transactions in PRC (including Hong Kong), Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and India.
Marcus previously practised with several international law firms in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore and has experience in a range of industries including manufacturing, retail, construction, real estate, food and beverage, banking and finance, mining and agriculture. Marcus was also with Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited where he was in the issuers' regulation department in charge of vetting listing and IPO applicants and enforcing continuing listing obligations on listed companies.
Marcus graduated with an LL.B. from the National University of Singapore and an LL.M. from the University of Virginia. He also holds a certificate in Governance as Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Marcus is qualified to practise in Singapore and New York, USA.
Marcus was on the Singapore Law Society’s committee for continuing professional development. He was also an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and a tutor at the National University of Singapore, Mochtar Riady School of Business.
