Marcin Bartkowiak

I am a specialist lawyer in procurement law and counsel in our regulatory and administrative team, based in Düsseldorf. In addition, I represent our German Desk in Warsaw, specialising in German and international public procurement.

Having advised international clients since 2013, I specialise in public commercial, public procurement and competition law. The focus of my practice is on the telecommunications and IT sectors, where I advise public authorities and companies particularly on major infrastructure projects.

I have extensive experience in assisting clients with federal and state-level public procurement procedures concerning the assembly and operation of software and hardware technology for German security authorities. I also advise on contract design (terms and conditions, EVB-IT etc.) and on international procurement, particularly between Germany and Poland.

Before joining our firm in 2013, I gained my professional experience while working for a leading law firm in Regensburg, Germany, which focused on contract and insurance law, and a commercial law firm working on the Eastern European market and based in Warsaw, Poland.
