Kavitha worked as a Legal Executive in a Malaysian company in their Construction Division before starting legal practice with a Malaysian law firm in January 2006.
Kavitha has represented both employees and employers in the Malaysian Industrial Courts and Labour Courts, and has assisted in employment and administrative law cases in the Malaysian High Courts and Court of Appeal.
She has also advised on a variety of employment matters including drafting and reviewing employment contracts; employment issues arising from mergers, acquisitions and business reorganizations; employee benefits; disciplinary proceedings; and trade union disputes and collective bargaining matters.
Kavitha graduated with an LLB (Hons) from University of Malaya in 2004 and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in May 2005. Kavitha obtained her LLM from University of Malaya in September 2007.
