Karin joined our Intellectual Property practice group in our Stockholm office in 2013 and is focused on trademarks, domain names and marketing law.
Karin is a part of our sector group for Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and provides legal advice to both national and international clients in various Intellectual Property matters.
Karin graduated from the University of Stockholm in 2013 specialised in national and international Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property litigation. Prior to graduation, Karin was a thesis trainee in the Intellectual Property practice group at our Stockholm office. She also worked as a paralegal in another law firm and as a trainee at the European Commission's Representation Office in Sweden.
Karin's LL.M. thesis ""Loss of exclusive right to a trademark due to passivity of the trademark holder" was published in the Intellectual Property journal "Nordiskt Immateriellt Rättsskydd (NIR) No 3, 2013. She is also a co-author to "Kluwer Trademark Law" which was published online by Wolters Kluwer in 2103. Further, Karin represented Sweden in the finals of the Nordic Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition in 2012.
