Jerker has extensive experience of advising on IP issues and commercial agreements across the media/ entertainment and IT industries.
Jerker is a partner based in Stockholm. He mainly acts on behalf of clients active in the media, entertainment and IT sectors and advises on IP, corporate and commercial matters.
Jerker has extensive experience of dealing with contentious and non contentious copyright matters including acting in litigation and anti-piracy proceedings; counselling on liability issues; negotiating licenses and rights clearances; and advising in relation to acquisitions of new media and technology companies. He is also frequently retained by the music industry and represents clients throughout the value chain: the creators (artists, producers and songwriters), record labels, music publishers, tour operators/venue owners and digital music companies.
Jerker was educated at Stockholm University. During 2007 - 2008, Jerker pursued an LL.M. (Masters of Laws) with a concentration towards Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law at New York University School of Law as a Fulbright Scholar.
Jerker has published several articles on copyright, database rights and entertainment law and regularly lectures within these fields.
Jerker is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and is a registered foreign lawyer of Law Society of England and Wales. He is also a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL), the Swedish Copyright Association (SFU) and the Swedish Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (SFIR).
