Jeffrey specialises in civil and commercial dispute resolution with a focus on Tech & Comms.
Jeffrey is an associate in our Dispute Resolution Practice and is based in The Hague.
He specialises in commercial litigation and is involved in a wide range of contentious civil matters. He has worked on cases with both national and international aspects and has experience in drafting documents for court proceedings. His practice also includes advising on disputes in the pre-litigation stages. Jeffrey is a member of our Media, Entertainment and Sport and Tech & Comms Groups.
Jeffrey joined us in 2016, having studied law at both the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University, specialising in IP law and information law. As part of his degree he studied in Bangkok. He wrote his thesis on the ex parte enforcement of Intellectual Property rights. During his studies he worked as a court clerk at the District Courts of Utrecht and Amsterdam, where he attended a significant number of court sessions and wrote numerous judgments, strengthening his legal writing proficiency.
Jeffrey is the co-author of a handbook for IP law enforcement (Maas & Maalderink, Het ex parte bevel, BJu, Den Haag, 2016).
