Gerlof advises on regulatory disputes and competition issues.
Gerlof is an associate in our Competition & EU Law and Regulatory Practices and is based in The Hague.
He focuses on regulatory disputes in the field of telecommunications, and, more generally, on competition issues, particularly in the Communications sector. He is involved in several proceedings before the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and the Trade and Industries Appeals Board (CBB), advising primarily on procedural questions. He is also a member of our Tech & Comms Group.
Gerlof joined us in 2014 having studied law at the University of Leiden, specialising in European Law and Philosophy of Law. As a part of his degree, he studied in Heidelberg, Germany. He wrote his thesis on the integration of non-efficiency objectives in EU competition law.
