Feyo is a regulatory communications expert who supports clients in lobbying activities drawing on his extensive experience in the TMT sector and public administration.
Feyo is of counsel in our Regulatory Practice. He is based in The Hague.
He combines in-depth business knowledge with legal and regulatory expertise. Feyo has a broad network of contacts in the telecommunications sector within the European administration and the Dutch Parliament, the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets ("ACM") and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He is a member of our Tech & Comms Group.
His practice involves developing and presenting strategic, regulatory and policy views in legislative procedures and lobbying at a national and EU level on issues regarding user protection, net neutrality, numbering, transparency, security, privacy, rights of way, market analysis and the application of European legislation into national law.
Feyo is a chairman of the Dutch Rights of Way Association. He initiated the round table of telecoms operators to represent their regulatory interests in consumer markets. He also chairs the Forum for Interconnect and Special Access (FIST) and the Telecom Society of telecommunications professionals (TSOC). His current practice includes advising on regulatory and policy matters with a particular focus on the Netherlands and Europe. In his role as a mentor with StartupBootCamp Amsterdam he advises start-ups on electronic communications markets.
He joined us in 2007; having started his career as a business lawyer in 1993 and working for several years for major Dutch telecommunications companies.
Feyo is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and an author of numerous national and international publications in the field of local and European telecommunications law.
