Enrique has significant knowledge and experience of administrative law and regulatory matters, allowing him to provide cutting edge, strategic advice.
Enrique Rivas is an associate in our Public Law and Regulatory Groups based in Madrid.
His focus is on Public Law, including public procurement, sanctions proceedings and strict liability claims against the Administration, with a particular focus on public contracts. He advises a number of companies, particularly pharmaceuticals, in public tenders for the award of services and/or supply contracts, and represents them before the Spanish Central Administrative Tribunal of Contractual Remedies and before different Courts when disputes arise with the Public Authorities.
He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and has prepared the Civil Servant exams by entering the State Lawyers Body (“Cuerpo de Abogados del Estado”) in Madrid.
He is also a professor of General and Administrative Law on the Aeronautical and Airport Management Masters programmeof the CEU Business School (Madrid).
