Combining a broad practice with extensive 'in-house' experience, Emily genuinely understands her clients’ needs
Having joined us as a trainee in 2004, Emily qualified into the International Employment Group in September 2006 and is now a Senior Associate.
Emily has a broad practice which includes experience managing multi-jurisdictional reorganisations and advising on the employment aspects of commercial transactions (involving TUPE, collective consultation and redundancies). Emily keeps up to date with the full range of ‘day to day’ employment law topics and provides regular assistance to clients on matters such as family rights, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and employment contract concerns.
Emily has been the UK in-house employment lawyer for Yahoo! (on a part-time basis) since 2009. In 2012 Emily also had responsibility for the co-ordination of Yahoo!’s EMEA employment legal advice during a maternity leave cover.
Emily read law at St John’s College, University of Oxford, where she was awarded a First Class Honours degree.
