Daniel is a Senior Foreign Legal Counsel in our Corporate Finance Group based in Singapore.
He has over a decade of experience in dealing with various corporate and commercial investments and mergers and acquisitions issues both in Indonesia and regionally. He has in-depth experience and expertise across an array of sectors, including mining and energy, infrastructure, information technology, telecommunications, broadcasting, retail and plantations. He has represented clients from Asia, the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia in a significant number of mergers and acquisitions transactions and foreign direct investments in Indonesia.
In recent years, Daniel has also handled many complex commercial litigation cases before district courts, commercial courts, and arbitration. He has represented some of the most prominent families and corporation in Indonesia in arbitration and court proceedings involving various complex and cross-border legal issues, and his excellent relationship with many governmental and regulatory agencies has made him a trusted advisor to the Government of Indonesia for several treaty arbitration cases.
Daniel is an accredited mediator and qualified as an Advocate in Indonesia. Prior to joining us, he spent a number of years working at other leading Singapore and Indonesia law firms.
