Cyril is highly regarded for his anti-piracy expertise in the region and is also actively involved in other contentious IP matters.
Cyril is a partner in the Intellectual Property practice and Tech & Comms group based in Singapore.
He has been practising in the area of intellectual property for more than 15 years and has been actively involved in various aspects of the intellectual property law practice, in particular, contentious matters.
Cyril represents major clients in the printer consumable, telecommunications, software, fashion and automotive industries in the management and execution of anti-piracy strategies and raids throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
He also regularly advises clients on software licences, data protection and trade secrets, trade mark and domain name issues.
A member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, Cyril has conducted many seminars on intellectual property enforcement and has appeared in Channel NewsAsia and CNBC on IP protection. He is also regularly quoted by the Straits Times of Singapore.
Cyril graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree of LLB (Hons) in 1995. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1996.
