Cassandra’s main areas of practice include civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, in which she represents major international companies in high-value arbitration matters.
Cassandra is Counsel in the Dispute Resolution Group of Bird & Bird ATMD in Singapore.
Her areas of practice include civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. Cassandra has represented clients in claims for breaches of commercial contracts including shareholders’ agreements and sale and purchase agreements. She represents clients in multi-million dollar arbitration matters involving major international companies. Cassandra has also acted for professional bodies in disciplinary proceedings for misconduct and private individuals and major companies in employment, commercial, contractual and tortious matters.
She has handled a wide range of probate and administration work involving high net worth individuals, individuals with assets in various jurisdictions and the Governments of other countries. In addition to the extraction of Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration, Cassandra advises clients on the realisation of assets and distribution of the Estate to beneficiaries.
As part of her Estate Planning practice, Cassandra has acted for private individuals in the drawing up of Wills and in proceedings under the Mental Capacity Act, dealing with multi jurisdictional assets and cross-border issues of domicile and residency.
Prior to joining us in 2012, she practised law in a leading local law firm, assisting on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters together with Estate Planning portfolios.
Cassandra graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008 with an LLB (Honours) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2009.
