Bettina is a great asset to the Hungarian legal team
Bettina is an Associate in the IP and the Corporate teams based in our Budapest office.
She has in-depth experience in intellectual property matters, including contentious and non-contentious trade mark issues, commercial and transactional IP matters and customs measures.
She regularly advises small fashion labels, as well as design and architectural companies on copyright law, branding, licensing, know-how and trade secrets protection.
Bettina also supports clients with general corporate issues, division and merger agreements, with special emphasis on protection and transfer of IP rights in start-up funding.
She joined us in 2011, having previously worked for a Hungarian law firm with an international clientele, focusing on commercial and corporate matters.
Bettina graduated from ELTE in 2010. In 2008/2009, she participated in a scholarship program at the University of Saarbrücken, Germany where she took part in courses of the Europa Institute, the Master Studies Institution of the University, studying EU and German Civil law, among other subjects.
In 2014, she mentored in the consultation and incubation program of Design Terminal, the Hungarian State Agency responsible for creative industries, and provided IP advice for start-ups and small companies in pursuit of investment opportunities. She also co-authored the Hungarian section of The Franchise Law Review, a comparative publication on franchise law.
She is a member of the Hungarian Trademark Association, the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright, and the Budapest Bar.
