Archie has experience in a broad range of intellectual property matters with a particular focus on the media & entertainment and technology & communications sectors.
Archie is an associate in our Intellectual Property group based in London.
He has been involved in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters relating to patents, trade marks, passing off and copyright. His litigation experience has primarily focussed on trade mark and patent disputes across a range of sectors, particularly telecoms. He has worked on brand management projects and advised a number of technology start-ups on how to manage and protect their intellectual property.
In 2015, Archie went on Secondment to Barclays Bank to work with their in house intellectual property team.
He is a contributor for our media-focused news hub MediaWrites and is part of the editorial team (www.mediawrites.law).
Archie read psychology at Newcastle University before studying the GDL at BPP and the LPC at Kaplan Law School. He trained with us and qualified in 2016.
