Andrew is keen to work with clients across the full breadth of the life sciences sector
Andrew is an Associate in our Intellectual Property department in London.
His practice focuses primarily on patent litigation in the life sciences sector, and he has been involved in the conduct of intricate patent disputes at the High Court. He has also assisted on matters in other sectors, including food and beverages, and financial services. Since qualification, Andrew has also been involved in the coordination of patent disputes and patent monitoring across a broad range of jurisdictions.
Andrew holds a Master of Pharmacology degree (first class) from the University of Bath, during which he spent a year working as a research intern at a top multinational pharma company. Thereafter, he read for a PhD in Immunology at King's College London, where he subsequently spent a number of years as a post-doctoral scientist. Following his conversion to law, Andrew has also obtained a graduate LLB from Nottingham Trent University, and is currently undertaking the University of Oxford Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law course.
Andrew qualified in 2015, having trained with us. During his training contract, Andrew was seconded to our Brussels office, where he assisted the Competition & EU Law team with a complex cartel investigation.
