A team of lawyers from our Paris and London offices has advised InfraVia on an important financing deal.

InfraVia's European infrastructure fund, InfraVia II, closed a deal with Crédit Agricole CIB on 3 July. The deal involved the EUR 40m partial refinancing of the acquisition by its Finnish affiliate, Aurora, of the electricity distribution network which supplies power to Outokumpu’s steel plant located in Tornio, Finland.

This asset was acquired in 2013 by InfraVia II from Outokumpu, a global leader in the stainless steel sector.

This transaction comes in the wake of InfraVia’s investments in Finland and, more recently, InfraVia II's acquisition of the industrial electricity grid Kilpilahden Sähkönsiirto (KS) from Neste Oil in January.

Our team comprised partner Driss Bererhi and associate Tzvetomira Pacheva in Paris and  partner Isabel Evans and associate Jennifer Bird in London.
