Bird & Bird is delighted to announce that it has appointed Ben Henry as a partner in its office in London.

Over the last ten years Ben has acted for a variety of clients on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, from retail lettings to high-value investment purchases.  He also has particular expertise in data centres, corporate real estate and landlord and tenant representation.

Ben was previously a senior associate in the Real Estate group at Mayer Brown in London.

Jonathan Baker, Co-Head International Real Estate Group, Bird & Bird said: "We are excited to welcome Ben to our team. We are looking to develop our Technical Real Estate group, with a focus on data centres. Opportunities in this area are closely aligned to the firm's existing sector approach, and its reputation for technology, innovation and creative thinking. As such Ben's expertise will be key in helping us to drive this."

Ben said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Bird & Bird and I am looking forward to this great opportunity.  Bird & Bird has been advising clients on data centre and IT infrastructure projects for over two decades and, as such, my experience aligns very well with the firm.

With its international network of data centre and technical real estate specialists, Bird & Bird is very well placed to deliver to all organisations in this sector”.
