New Life Sciences Team for Bird & Bird in Paris

Bird & Bird announces today the arrival of leading Life Sciences partner Alain Gorny in Paris.

Alain Gorny, who brings with him a team of three other lawyers, joins the firm from Courtois Lebel, where he led the Life Sciences Group from its creation in 2004.

Alain has been practising at the Paris Bar since 1975, and has a leading reputation in pharmaceutical and health products law, as well as for his general expertise in the Life Sciences sector.

In the Health sector he specialises in product liability, regulatory matters, pricing, reimbursement, negotiation with Health Authorities, advertising, unfair competition, distributorship and other commercial agreements. Alain and his team advise across the whole of the Health sector and act for major industrial health companies (mainly US, French and Japanese). The team is regularly involved in large international projects.
