Martin Schimke, from our Düsseldorf office, has been appointed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport's tribunal which will convene in London to resolve legal disputes during the Olympic Games.

Martin comments: "It’s an honour to be invited to participate in CAS's ad-hoc Division for London 2012. During high profile sporting events, it's vital to ensure that legal issues are resolved efficiently and effectively, so that disputes do not disrupt proceedings and do not negatively impact athletes' intense preparation. I am delighted to play a role in CAS's support to the Olympic Games."
