ETHERA, a company based in Grenoble has announced a second funding round to raise a total of 3 million euros. A start-up created in 2010, ETHERA develops and sells measuring and purification kits for diagnosing, monitoring, and eliminating indoor chemical pollution.
ETHERA’s first funding round involved funds from EMERTEC, a company that manages seed funding in the energy, environmental, and mobility sectors in Europe, and CEA Investment.
The new funds raised from EMERTEC, NEC-K, and SEB ALLIANCE will enable ETHERA to produce its materials on a larger scale and thus develop its offering to the general public and internationally.
The company also hopes to benefit from its new partners’ experience, particularly SEB ALLIANCE’s consumer market experience. SEB ALLIANCE, an investment fund created by the Seb group in order to anticipate changes in the small household appliances market and to open up its innovation and new technology policies, primarily aims to take minority holdings in companies with strong technological profiles.
