Bird & Bird advises on its $55 million USD sale to OpenTable

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised leading online restaurant booking service on its sale to OpenTable, Inc, for approximately $55 million USD in cash. The transaction closed on 1 October 2010.

The Bird & Bird team was led by Corporate partner Matt Dennis and assisted by Aaron Archer (Corporate), Caroline Brown (Tax) and Colin Kendon (Employee Incentives & Benefits) in addition to colleagues from IP, IT, Tax and Employment. Matt and his team have worked with since its inception in 1999.
