The senior consultant is Advocate Eman Abuzeid (qualified Jordanian lawyer) who has over 20 years of experience as a commercial lawyer working across the Middle East, more recently in the UAE.

David Kerr, CEO, Bird & Bird, comments:  "We are delighted to be opening our new office in Abu Dhabi as it provides us with a great platform to work with clients throughout the UAE as well as in the wider Middle East and Africa regions."

Mark Pinder, Head of Bird & Bird Abu Dhabi, adds:  “The UAE’s ongoing substantial investments in major commercial and corporate projects, across aviation, healthcare, energy, communications and media and sport present an ideal opportunity for Bird & Bird’s international and renowned expertise in delivering practical and imaginative commercial solutions to complex projects.  We have a number of clients from all over the world with interests in the region and we look forward to building relationships and a long-term presence in Abu Dhabi.”
