11 July 2008

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Anglo Irish Bank Corporation plc on its provision of £85million loan facilities to the Club Company Group, one of the UK's leading golf and country club operators.

Charles Proctor, partner in the London Finance Group, headed the Bird & Bird team, assisted by associates Amy Johns and Jenny Brand. The Club Company was advised by Howard Kennedy.

Bird & Bird’s International Finance Group comprises over 35 lawyers spread across 15 international offices. The group is actively involved in the real estate and corporate finance spheres, and also undertakes a range of business in the field of financial services regulation.
