Bird & Bird Recruits Public Law Team in Paris

International law firm, Bird & Bird has recruited a team of lawyers specialising in public and administrative law in its Paris office creating one of the biggest teams dedicated to this area of law within France. Jean-Dominique Bloch has joined Bird & Bird from law firm August & Debouzy, where he was head of their Public Law department. He has been joined by two assistants bringing the total public law group in Paris to a team of seven lawyers.

Bloch has been joined by two assistants; Frederic Destal, who was working with him at August & Debouzy since 2001 and Geoffroy O’Mahony. The team will strengthen the existing Bird & Bird public law team which currently consists of European counsel, Jean-Michel Communier and assistants Jérôme Boisseau, Martin Tissier and Laurent Crapart, establishing one of the largest public law teams within France. Bloch will lead the team.

Commenting on the appointments, Frédérique Dupuis-Toubol said:
