Ericsson’s in-house lawyer joins firm to head up IP practice

The Stockholm office of international law firm Bird & Bird has recruited Walo von Greyerz, former Vice President and Senior Legal Adviser for Intellectual Property Rights within Ericsson’s Corporate Legal Affairs team, to head up the firm’s intellectual property practice in Sweden.

With a focus on European Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Walo’s experience will prove to be invaluable to Bird & Bird’s increasing number of international clients. While at Ericsson, Walo was responsible for all matters regarding the protection and enforcement of IPRs as well as managing all IPR infringement matters and with a particular emphasis on patent infringement cases within Europe (France, Germany, Sweden, UK), Japan and the USA.
