3 new partner appointments underline rapid growth

The Hague office of international law firm Bird & Bird, has just appointed three new partners following its annual partnership appraisal. A total of 6 partners were made up across the firm, however Bird & Bird’s office in The Hague made the highest number of appointments.

Having launched only 18 months ago with 4 partners, the office has expanded at a rapid pace, more than doubling its initial size. Including these new appointments, the total number of partners in the office is now 11.

The three new partners, Pauline Kuipers, Jeroen van der Lee and Pauline Vos are Competition, IT and Corporate/Banking experts respectively. All three of them were part of the Dutch start-up team which joined Bird & Bird in December 2001. Their appointments reinforce the firm’s full service approach.

Commenting on the appointments, Harry Rek, joint managing partner of the firm’s office in The Hague said:

“These appointments are very well deserved. All three partners are highly experienced and recognised experts in their individual fields”.
