In addition to a review of enforcement action taken in many of the jurisdictions in which Bird & Bird has offices, highlights up to early September 2014 include:

  • A French interim case involving disclosure of login histories and IP addresses following a subject access request is an interesting example of the extent of data which may have to be released
  • The Czech Data Protection Authority issues an opinion on the use of dynamic signatures.
  • The Polish Data Protection Authority issues its first fines for non-compliance.
  • The Slovak Data Protection Authority publishes guidance on CCTV.
