Injunctions in the Digital Age - One size does not fit all

In the electronic age, a company's most valuable assets are its information and its digital infrastructure.

These assets bring rapidly changing threats, including cyber-attacks, online fraud, unlawful content use and data theft. To contain and control these new risks, companies need to take a creative approach to the tools in its risk management arsenal. One such tool is the use of injunctions. The English courts are increasingly willing to customise injunctions to deal with the such risks. Sophie Eyre and Bryony Hurst will be exploring the types of injunctions available and the innovative ways in which they are being used by organisations and enforced by the courts (both in the UK and beyond) to combat against modern threats. They will also share tips on how to prepare in advance for injunction applications, which are often urgent, and the tactical considerations involved in seeking this form of relief.
