The Middle East in 2016: Scenarios forecast, drivers of change and contest areas seminar

Date: 08 February 2012

Bird & Bird's International Aerospace, Defence and Security Group would like to invite you to a seminar titled 'The Middle East in 2016: Scenarios forecasts, drivers of change and contest areas' on Wednesday 8 February 2012 from 08.00.

The geopolitical, social and business environment in the Middle East will be very different in 2016. The existing nation-states will be challenged by regional influence, sectarian groups and secessionists. Business relationships and information channels established and formerly controlled by a narrow government elite to its commercial advantage will be commensurately less useful when there are more players. The fast-paced environment we saw in 2011 underlines the importance for businesses operating in the region to understand influence groups and have business continuity plans in place. The head and deputy head of MENA forecasting at Exclusive Analysis will outline key scenario forecasts for the business environment in 2016 for the region.

We are pleased to confirm speakers for this seminar will be:

Zaineb Al-Assam, Head of Middle East and North Africa Forecasting, Exclusive Analysis
Firas Abi Ali, Deputy Head of Middle East and North Africa Forecasting, Exclusive Analysis
