Has copyright learnt to cope with the digital age?' IP seminar

Date: 25 November 2010

Bird & Bird's IP Group would like to invite you to its 'Has copyright learnt to cope with the digital age?' seminar on Thursday 25 November 2010 at The Lincoln Centre, from 3:00pm.

Following this seminar the IP Group is holding its Annual IP Reception for clients and contacts and we'd be delighted if you could join us.

The internet poses significant challenges to rights owners in enforcing their rights, while copyright itself raises a number of difficulties for ISPs and internet users.

This seminar will take a broad look at how the law relating to copyright infringement is developing to balance the respective interests. Speakers representing rights holders and consumer groups will discuss issues relating to private copying, while contributors from the Netherlands, Germany and the UK will examine the status of the law as regards online and cross border liability.

For further information, or to register to attend this seminar please contact the Events Team at events@twobirds.com or call +44 (0)20 7415 6000.
