In December 2015, the EU Parliament and the Commission reached an agreement on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is likely to enter into force this spring 2016, after the formal approval by the EU Parliament. The GDPR, which will apply 24 months after the date on which it will enter in force, will significantly overhaul Europe's cornerstone data protection legislation.

Bird & Bird Data Protection specialists Catherine Erkelens, Benoit Van Asbroeck, Julien Debussche, Thomas Van Gremberghe and Jasmien César will guide you through some key aspects of the GDPR and how these can impact your business.
