Franz specialises in all aspects of IP law and advises in particular in the areas of competition, trade mark and copyright law. He also has another focus in the area of sports and media law.
In 2003, he completed his Master of Law degree at Fordham Law School in New York, where he focused on IP and International Trade Law.
Franz graduated in law at the University of Munich (First State Examination 1999) and the State of Bavaria (Second State Examination 2001) and is admitted to the Munich bar since 2004.
Franz is a member of the German Intellectual Property Association (GRUR), admitted to the bar in Germany and the United States (State of New York) and is fluent in German and English.
