Fabian was admitted to the bar in May 2002 and has been working for Bird & Bird since December 2007. He specialises in commercial law, public procurement law, energy law and privatisations. Among other things he has worked on dealing with questions of public procurement and contract law in an important research and development project. He also focuses on procuring complex IT services. Fabian studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin.
After the completion of his formation, Fabian worked for the Berlin law firm Wächter attorneys at law, where he focused on general civil, litigation and company law.
In 2002, he moved to Boesen attorneys at law in Bonn, which specialises in public procurement law and private construction law. Whilst there, Fabian provided comprehensive legal advice in matters of public procurement law. In doing so he repeatedly furnished legal opinions, e.g. with regard to the restructuring of a big regional development company and with regard to the construction and operation of a power plant. In addition, he frequently represented the interests of orderers and tenderers in public procurement procedures on review. Further focal points of his activity were in the area of private building law, of state aid law, competition law and municipal commercial law.
Fabian has authored contributions for publication in the journal „Immobilien- & Baurecht (IBR)“.
He speaks German and English.
