Daniel qualified into the Bird & Bird Dispute Resolution Group in September 2007.
During his training at the firm and since qualifying, Daniel has experienced a wide range of litigation (in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal). He has also worked on various arbitrations and has experience of other Tribunal work. Daniel has been involved in advising and preparing for litigation on a wide range of commercial matters including banking, shipping and media work. He has also been heavily involved sports work and he has worked closely with the Sports Group at Bird & Bird. Daniel's involvement in all these areas includes preparing legal advice and statements of case, making and responding to court applications, drafting witness statements and negotiating claims. He has also prepared, sought to vary and revoke injunctions.
Whilst training at Bird & Bird Daniel spent 3 months in the firm's Madrid office where he worked in a number of different areas and was exposed to many of the firms key sectors. His work in Madrid has helped Daniel form close links with the Spanish team and he often works with them on contentious and non-contentious matters. Daniel is also fluent in Swedish.
